CNBLUE heading Down Under


Melbourne concert – 31 May, Sydney concert – 1 June

A K-Pop rock band CNBLUE is heading Down Under to hold a concert in Melbourne on 31st of May and in Sydney on 1st of June respectively, as part or their world tour “Blue Moon”.

Their world tour began in this month starting in Taiwan and Singapore, and continuing in Thailand, Hong Kong and more.

They also plan to hold a concert in Korea on May 25-26 in Seoul as well.

CNBLUE’s Blue Moon is the Korean band’s first world tour.

Their concerts in Australia are presented by JK Entertainment who have organised a variety of K-Pop performances including the landmark 2011 K-Pop Music Fest and sponsored by the Korean Safari, “A Window into the priceless virtual Korea”- www.koreansafari.com.au, a subsidiary of TOP Media Group.

 

CNBLUE was formed in 2009, consisting of Jung Yong-hwa (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Lee Jong-hyun (lead guitar, vocals), Lee Jung Shin(bass guitar, wrap) and Kang Min-hyuk(drums, vocals).

CN is an abbreviation of ‘Code Name’, while BLUE is an abbreviation of the members’ individual images: Burning, Jong-hyun; Lovely, Min-hyuk; Untouchable, Jung Shin; and Emotional, Yong-hwa.

The group released four teasers for their 1st Korean mini album Bluetory starring one member per each of the videos in the sequence of Jonghyun, Minhyuk, Jungshin and lastly, Yonghwa on the 6th, 8th, 11 and 13 January 2010 respectively.

On January 14, 2010 CN Blue debuted their first mini-album in Korea with the lead single "I'm a Loner".

CNBLUE extends concert dates in Australia


CNBLUE has been confirmed for a second show in Australia at an iconic venue which has hosted rock legends AC/DC and The Beatles.

CNBUE has added one more show in Melbourne to their world tour schedule. The news come after the group announced that the 2013 CNBLUE Blue Moon World Tour would be headed to the Philippines earlier last week.

The Melbourne show will be held on Friday 31 May, 2013 at the iconic Festival Hall, which has hosted rock legends AC/DC and The Beatles.

The second show is a second addition to the Sydney show which has ‘sold well’. The Sydney leg of the concert will take place at Luna Park’s Big Top 3,000 seat venue.

COVERAGE; CNBLUE: Once in a Blue Moon 

JK Entertainment, the concert organisers in Australia, contacted hellokpop today to share the good news.

“Ticket sales have opened with a great start and the artists are very excited about the Australia concert,” Miji Kim of JK Entertainment said.

Kim also revealed plans to bring more K-Pop artists to the land down-under after the company’s success at bringing 11 K-Pop groups in 2011, which included an all-star list of K-Pop celebrities such as Girls’ Generation, TVXQ, miss A and 2AM.

“We are planning to bring another K-Pop concert at the moment (sic). I will let you know once we have more details about this.”

CNBLUE Reveal ‘BLUE MOON’ World Tour 2013

CNBLUE reveal their new poster and announce newly added dates and locations to their ‘BLUE MOON’ 2013 World Tour.

On the heels of a hugely successful comeback promotional tour for their 4th mini album, ‘RE:BLUE‘, CNBLUE are now getting ready to embark on their most exciting venture in their career so far. FNC Entertainment announced a few weeks ago that CNBLUE would have a World Tour this year with a goal of reaching over 12 countries. In January FNC Entertainment revealed,CNBLUE is currently planning their 2013 world tour. They won’t be going to just Asian countries such as China, Singapore, and Hong Kong, but also Europe, Australia, North America, and South America. CNBLUE will make history once again being the first Korean Rock band to ever hold a world tour.

CNBLUE has already confirmed performances in Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, and China’s Beijing and Shanghai so far but just a few hours ago, the band updated their official Facebook to reflect even more dates and locations.

The band has definitely proven to have fans in all parts of the world whom support them and are eager to see the four-man band come to their country and hold a concert for them so having a world tour at this time seems to be a natural progression for CNBLUE. Fans worldwide are hoping that one of the tour dates is in their country or at the very least, in a country nearby. FNC has revealed they are avidly working with promoters to bring the ‘BLUE MOON’ World Tour 2013to major cities in North and South America and Europe as well.

Now that ‘RE: BLUE‘ promotions are over, CNBLUE are currently preparing for their world tour which will kick off April 6th 2013 at Taipei Arena in Taiwan.

CNBLUE announces additional world tour dates
+ reveals poster for ’2013 Blue Moon World Tour’


For those of you in Australia, Philippines, and Korea, get ready to greet CNBLUE as they have now confirmed the tour dates and stops in the three countries for ‘2013 Blue Moon CNBLUE World Tour‘!

They’ve already confirmed their Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, and Hong Kong dates (which you can check out here), and now they’ve followed up with additional dates to the delight of their international fans.

After their initial Asian tour dates, they’ll head back to Korea on May 25th and 26th for concerts on their home ground of Korea. Then, for all their Australian fans, CNBLUE will be coming your way in June of this year, holding their concert at Sydney on June 1st. They’ll follow that up by traveling to their fans awaiting in the Philippines on June 15th.

CNBLUE to become the first Korean band
to go on a world tour


For those of you eager to see CNBLUE, you may have a chance to see them perform live for it’s been announced the group will become the first Korean band to go on a world tour!

FNC Entertainment revealed, “CNBLUE is currently planning their 2013 world tour. They won’t be going to just Asian countries such as China, Singapore, and Hong Kong, but also Europe, Australia, North America, and South America.

According to the label, CNBLUE has already confirmed performances in Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, and China’s Beijing and Shanghai so far. They are also aiming for the main cities in other parts around the world like the U.S. and Europe, and are talking over scheduling with the on-site promoters. Concert producers in Australia and South America are also in talks.

The label added, “This result was not brought from effort of a short duration. It’s a result of having held live performances in USA and in Europe, and being recognized for their talent.

The world tour will start off in Seoul in May.
